There is a completely new design in the
OnePlus 7 Pro, which has a glass back and front and curved sides. The phone looks very premium but it is very heavy. The nebula blue variant looks slick but it is quite slippery, which makes use of single-hand a real challenge. It has a 6.67-inch ED Fluid AMOLED display with support for QHD + resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR 10+ content. The display vivid color produces a dark black color and has good looking angles.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC has been used on the phone, which is said to be more powerful than the previous one. Performance is excellent because the phone can handle heavy applications and games easily. New OxygenOS 9.5 Fnatic mode, in-built screen recording, screenshot editor and more to give some priority to games on certain new features such as notifications.
You also get stereo speakers for the first time in the one-plus device. However, there is no wireless charging or IP rated waterproofing.
OnePlus 7 Pro also has a new camera setup. The main
48-megapixel sensor captures a detailed scenario in both day and night, but we found Autofocus a bit incompatible during the shooting of macros. The 8-megapixel telephoto camera offers 3x optical zoom, while the 16-megapixel wide-angle camera captures more than one view of you. You also get a 16-megapixel, pop-up selfie camera, which pulls decent selfies. Finally, the
4000mAh battery runs smoothly on a charge throughout the day and there is also fast charging support.
